A graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry, Dr. Hamilton launched and grew a solo practice in his native Wisconsin for 15 years before relocating to the Seattle, Wash., area. His concepts of patient care have been developed over 35 years of private and independent contract practice.
Dr. Hamilton is known for finding creative solutions to patients’ eye care needs. He specializes in fitting silicone hydrogel contact lenses, and his high success rate makes him a much-sought resource to fellow optometric physicians for consults and lectures.
Dr. Hamilton lives with his wife in Bellevue and Port Orchard, Wash., and has three sons and two stepsons. In his spare time he is actively involved in organizing charitable functions for Wonderland Developmental Center, a non-profit that treats autistic and developmentally disabled children. An avid golfer and bowler, his quest to achieve a single-digit handicap in both sports continues.
